BMO Financial Group 2009 Annual Report Available Online

TORONTO, December 14, 2009 – BMO Financial Group (TSX, NYSE: BMO) today announced that its 2009 Annual Report to Shareholders, including Audited Annual 2009 Financial Statements and related Management's Discussion and Analysis, is now available online by visiting www.bmo.com/annualreport2009. A fully interactive online annual report will be available from December 18.

BMO has filed these materials with securities regulators and the materials are also available on the Canadian Securities Administrators' web site at www.sedar.com, and on the EDGAR section of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's web site at www.sec.gov.

Printed copies of BMO's 2009 Annual Report, along with the Proxy Circular and Notice for BMO's Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held on March 23, 2010 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, will be mailed to shareholders in late February, 2010.
