KITCHENER-WATERLOO, April 13, 2010 - BMO Bank of Montreal, Accelerator Centre and Communitech will be hosting a roundtable event on Thursday April 15, featuring experts from the private and public sector discussing issues and solutions for Canadian businesses' drive to boost productivity.
BMO's Chief Economist, Dr. Sherry Cooper, will present findings from her report "Canada's Disturbing Productivity Performance," and panellists will discuss ways that businesses can boost their productivity as Canada emerges from the recession. Issues to be discussed include the opportunity for Canadian business owners to invest in capital expenditures with the strong Canadian dollar, and the prospects for growth that flow from exports to emerging markets.
