TORONTO, July 28, 2010 – BMO Harris Investment Management Inc. (BHIMI), the investment management arm of BMO Harris Private Banking, today announced that it has received regulatory approval to proceed with the proposed changes, announced on June 22, 2010, to the BMO Harris Growth Opportunities Portfolio.

This change comes as part of a continued focus on refining select investment strategies. BHIMI is committed to delivering discretionary investment management solutions to high net worth individuals and families. Strategies include allocations to multiple assets classes, across geographies and investment styles.

As a result of obtaining regulatory approval, on or about the close of business on September 24, 2010, the BMO Harris Growth Opportunities Portfolio will merge into the BMO Harris Canadian Growth Equity Portfolio, and holders of units of the BMO Harris Growth Opportunities Portfolio will receive units of the BMO Harris Canadian Growth Equity Portfolio. Investor approval will not be required to effect this change.
