BMO Capital Markets Expands in the U.S. With New Hires in Fixed Income and Institutional Sales and Trading
BMO has hired more than 450 people globally and more than 112 professionals in the United States since January 2010
NEW YORK and CHICAGO, July 30, 2010 – BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group (NYSE, TSX: BMO), has hired two senior fixed income professionals to continue the expansion of the U.S. fixed income institutional sales and trading groups. Scott Graham joins as Head of U.S. Government Bond Trading and Bill Kirby joins as Head of the U.S. Fixed Income Sales group.
Scott Graham, based in Chicago, reports to Brad Reid, Chief Dealer Core Rates in the Fixed Income Group. Mr. Graham was previously at the Royal Bank of Scotland where he held the position of Managing Director and Head of Global Supra Sovereigns and Agencies. BMO's U.S. High Grade Trading Team in Chicago will report to Mr. Graham.
Bill Kirby will have offices in both Chicago and New York, and report to Kelsey Gunderson, Managing Director, Investor Origination in the Debt Products Group. Mr. Kirby was previously at Bengal Partners, where he was a Managing Director. He has also held various leadership roles at Prudential Securities including Senior Vice President and Director of Global Debt Capital Markets. He brings more than 25 years of fixed income experience.
