    Canadians Can Make Donations to the Red Cross Pakistan Flood Relief Effort at BMO Bank of Montreal Branches

    TORONTO, August 18, 2010 – Canadians wanting to support the Red Cross in its flood relief effort in Pakistan can make donations at BMO Bank of Montreal branches across Canada. Donations can be made between August 20 and September 17, 2010.

    As well, in order to assist customers who wish to send drafts or fund transfers directly to relatives or other affected individuals or agencies in Pakistan, BMO is waiving fees related to these transactions until September 17, 2010.

    Yesterday, BMO announced it is contributing $100,000 to support the Red Cross' relief efforts.
