About BMO Centre:
- $40 million dollar,160,000 square-feet complex featuring four NHL-size ice surfaces, with one arena seating more than 500 people;
- Complex also includes four competition beach volleyball courts, a fully accessible ice surface designed to accommodate sledge hockey as well as a sports retail store and food and beverage areas;
- Youth sport given priority, with approximately one-third of ice-time allocated to female sport;
- Building is LEED Silver equivalent, and features complete heat recovery system designed to maximize energy efficiency.
