BMO's Colleen Campbell Named To Top 20 Women Of The Year By Women's Post

TORONTO, December 16, 2010 – BMO Capital Markets' head of Global Debt Capital Markets, Colleen Campbell, has been named as one of the Top 20 Women of the Year by Women's Post magazine.

The national award seeks out 20 Canadian women each year, who reflect strength, ingenuity and confidence. Honourees not only contribute to society, but to the success of women in the workplace.

”Colleen epitomizes these characteristics, and is being recognized in part for her work in helping to inspire more women to pursue careers in the financial services industry,” said Tom Milroy, Chief Executive Officer, BMO Capital Markets. “With a 30-year career in bond capital markets, Colleen has been a true leader in the financial services industry.”

Ms. Campbell oversees a diverse international business that includes government, infrastructure, investment grade and high yield bond financing. She is also a member of the firm's management and loan and bond capital commitments committees. In addition, through her work at BMO and on various university campuses, she has been active in the company's efforts to recruit, retain and develop female leaders in the business.

"I have been very fortunate in being given the opportunity to build a wonderful team of people at BMO,” said Campbell. “I have also enjoyed working on some of the largest and complex bond financings ever done in the Canadian market. It has been a fascinating time to be in this industry.”
