DUNDAS, ON, January 14, 2011 – BMO Bank of Montreal today announced the celebration of 60 years at its Dundas Branch, 81 King St. West. The bank marked this tremendous occasion with customer appreciation of snacks and goodies. All attendees were invited to enter a draw for a gift basket, provided by the branch.
Branch manager Rose Oliveira, who has worked with BMO for 40 years, said her team of 14 professionals is proud of their commitment to the Dundas community.
“We have been actively involved in this community for the past 60 years and we look forward to continuing this dedication for years to come,” said Ms. Oliveira.
“We have been really fortunate to work with some great organizations in our community and our customers have always been ready to lend a helping hand when needed,” added Ms. Oliveira. “Our continuous contribution to the local Good Shepherd Women's Services “Martha House”, would not be possible without the generous food and clothing donations from our customers, who continue to fill box after box.”
The branch has also committed time, resources and funding to Kids Help Phone, United Way, Hamilton Association Community Living, and for the 50th anniversary of the Dundas Parkside High School.
