BMO Rings in the Lunar New Year

TORONTO, February 4, 2011 – BMO Bank of Montreal is celebrating the Lunar New Year to ring in the Year of the Rabbit. In support of Canada's growing Asian community, a total of 68 BMO branches across Canada will offer new and existing customers the chance to win $5,000.

“BMO has a long history of supporting multi-cultural communities in Canada and this campaign is another demonstration of our ongoing commitment,” said Su McVey, Vice-President, Customer Communications & Marketing, BMO Bank of Montreal. “We are happy to celebrate this significant cultural festival and welcome the Year of the Rabbit.”

The New Year promotion contest runs between February 1 and February 28, 2011. When customers deposit a minimum of $5,000 into a new or existing Everyday Banking Account, they will receive a chance to win one of eight prizes of $5,000. New and existing customers are eligible to win.

BMO's Support for New Canadians and Multicultural Communities
