OSHAWA, March 11, 2011 – On Saturday, March 12, BMO Bank of Montreal invites members of the community and clients to come celebrate the relocated Oshawa Centre Branch at 419 King St. West.
To celebrate the occasion, BMO's Oshawa Centre Branch will be donating $3000 to the Alzheimer Society Durham.
“We are truly honoured to be accepting this generous gift,” says Chris Braney, Executive Director, Alzheimer Society Durham. “BMO's contribution helps raise awareness of Alzheimer's Disease and demonstrates a commitment to the wellbeing of the neighbourhoods and regions they serve.”
The new BMO branch represents a $1.5 million investment into the Oshawa community. With a team of 20 in-house experts, the larger, state-of-the-art facility continues to offer the same great financial services, and bring clarity to financial decisions in English, Spanish and Macedonian.
“Since our official opening on January 10th, customers have enjoyed the more modern and convenient facility, along with the broader range of financial services available,” said Janet Thursby, Branch Manager, BMO Bank of Montreal. “Now, entering into the spring buying season, new and existing customers are invited to meet with our mortgage specialist and discuss options such as BMO's five-year fixed low-rate mortgage with a maximum 25-year amortization which can help save homeowners thousands of dollars over time and pay off their mortgages sooner.”
