SURREY, BC, April 13, 2011 - BMO Bank of Montreal will be celebrating the grand opening of its new branch located at 159th & Fraser Highway Branch on Saturday April 16th. To mark the occasion BMO will be donating $50,000 to the new YWCA Alder Gardens, a housing community for single mothers and their children.
“BMO is pleased to provide a donation to YWCA Alder Gardens, that offers comfort and relief for single mothers and their children when it’s most needed,” said Joanne Gassman, Senior Vice President, BC & Yukon Division, BMO Bank of Montreal.
BMO’s new state-of-the-art branch provides increased conveniences for customers, including:
- Financial services in six languages – English, Hindi, Punjabi, Tagalog, Italian and Sinhalese;
- Three Instabank automated banking machines (ABMs) accessible 24/7, including a drive-thru ABM;
- Full wheelchair accessibility and ample free parking;
- Individual client meeting rooms and counter “pods” for better customer conversations and
- Coin counting machine, useful for small businesses and personal customers.
“The opening of this branch demonstrates our commitment to expanding our presence in the Fleetwood area,” said Amarjit Pandher, Branch Manager. “Now, entering into the spring buying season, we encourage new and existing customers to meet with our mortgage specialist and discuss options such as our BMO Eco Smart Mortgage, now at 3.79 per cent for a five-year fixed closed rate.”
