The Southwest United Red Devils of Calgary are celebrating their recent win as BMO Team of the Week. The SWU Red Devils will receive team track suits, a team party and $500 to a charity of their choice. The team is now a contender to be BMO Team of the Week 2011 Champion and win $125,000 to upgrade their local soccer field.
The SWU Red Devils have named KidSport Alberta as their charity. KidSport provides support to children and removes the financial barriers that may prevent them from participating in organized sports. There are 35 chapters in Alberta that work with more than 100 communities.

BMO Team of the Week is Canada's premier sport celebration at the grassroots level, engaging a nation and inspiring communities by recognizing youth soccer teams who demonstrate team pride, team spirit, community commitment and passion for the game. From April 1 until June 30, teams can be nominated at BMOsoccer.com. Fifteen weekly winners will be named BMO Team of the Week and entered for a chance to be voted by Canadians, starting August 1, as BMO Team of the Week 2011 Champion.
