The giveaway is part of BMO's MasterCard summer promotion, which offers 1,000 welcome bonus reward miles to all new BMO Gold AIR MILES MasterCard cardholders.

Su McVey, VP, Marketing at BMO Bank of Montreal, says "1,000 is a lot of reward miles. This represents a round trip flight from Toronto to New York, Montreal to Boston, Vancouver to Seattle, or Halifax to St. John's."

As part of the promotion, BMO also launched a fun Facebook App called "That's the Ticket", which shows some of the destinations you could fly to for less than 1,000 reward miles, with the exclusive 25 per cent flight discount available to all BMO Gold AIR MILES MasterCard customers.
