Media Advisory/Interview Opportunity-PROUD: BMO Hosts Panel to Discuss the Unique Financial Challenges Facing the LGBT Community

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 29, 2011) - The spotlight is on the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community – June is Pride Month and celebrations are underway in Toronto for Pride Week. Furthermore, in the U.S., President Obama has been making headlines with his stance on gay rights, while New York just became the sixth U.S. state to legalize gay marriage.

Media representatives are invited to a media briefing today at 11:00 a.m. ET featuring Dr. Amy D'Aprix, BMO's Life Transition Expert, Gavin Clark of BMO Nesbitt Burns and Nada Ristich, Director of Corporate Donations, who will discuss unique issues facing the community as well as BMO's ongoing support for diversity both in and out of the workplace.
