CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 7, 2011) - The Calgary Stampede and BMO Bank of Montreal will be presenting the annual BMO Farm Family Awards to 18 outstanding southern Alberta families on Monday, July 11 at Stampede Park.
Join Mike Casey, president and chairman of the board, Calgary Stampede and the Hon. Jack Hayden, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, celebrate these families and their contribution to Alberta's agriculture industry.
The Alberta Agricultural Service Board selects the BMO Farm Family Award recipients based on their contribution to the community and their own farming expertise. The Awards recognize families who take an innovative approach to growing their business in the agriculture industry, and at the same time demonstrate a commitment to traditional western values.
