CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 11, 2011) - BMO Bank of Montreal and the Calgary Stampede will host the annual BMO Kids' Day on Wednesday, July 13 with free admission from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. for children under 12 and accompanying adults.
Robert Hayes, Senior Vice President, Prairies Division, BMO Bank of Montreal and other BMO executives in Calgary will join more than 170 BMO employees and the Calgary Stampede caravan committee to flip pancakes for 25,000 people at the annual free pancake breakfast.
This year, the winners of the BMO Kids' Day Junior Reporter contest will share the latest and greatest stories from the day's events. The two 2011 BMO Junior Reporters are:
- Jorden Raychaudhuri (11 years old) who hails from Springback, Alta. She enjoys swimming and riding, and has a real passion for dance.
- Austin Smith (12 years old) is the brother of last year's BMO Junior Reporter contest winner, Shantal Smith. Austin has been involved in 4H for three years, but hockey is what he enjoys the most along with riding his horse, Chester.
- Free pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Grandstand Courtyard
- Free show on the Grandstand stage from 8:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. with the Rodeo Riders hosts – Dusty Britches, Saddlesore Sam and Happy Bellows
- Midway opens at 9 a.m., with 30 BMO Kids' Day midway coupons available for $20. Coupons are available from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
