    Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity: Halifax County United U12 Girls Celebrate BMO Team of the Week Title

    - Team eligible to win grand prize including $125,000 field refurbishment

    - Team has selected KidSport as charity of choice

    HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwire - July 11, 2011) - The Halifax County United (HCU) U12 girls soccer team is celebrating its recent win as BMO Team of the Week and kicking off its contention for BMO Team of the Week 2011 Champion at their local Bank of Montreal branch in Halifax.

    As BMO Team of the Week, the HCU girls will receive team track suits, a team party and $500 to their charity of choice, KidSport. KidSport is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under. The organization supports a network of 11 provincial/territorial KidSport chapters and 177 community KidSport chapters across Canada in their fundraising and sport activities.

    BMO Team of the Week is Canada's premier sport celebration at the grassroots level, engaging a nation and inspiring communities by recognizing youth soccer teams who demonstrate team pride, team spirit, community commitment and passion for the game. Fifteen weekly winners will be named BMO Team of the Week and entered for a chance to be voted by Canadians, starting August 1, as BMO Team of the Week 2011 Champion.
