The Glen Shields Sun Devils 2000 girls soccer team learns that they have been crowned the first-ever BMO Team of the Week Champion, receiving congratulations from Vaughan mayor Hon. Maurizio Bevilacqua after the announcement Monday morning. The team wins $125,000 to upgrade their local soccer pitch, a trip to see the Toronto FC or Vancouver Whitecaps FC and $5,000 to donate to a charity of their choice.
