GODERICH, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 9, 2011) - BMO Bank of Montreal customers in Goderich now have access to the full range of BMO branch services. BMO has installed a fully equipped trailer this week in the parking lot of the Suncoast Mall, beside the Solo Gas Bar at Highway #21. The trailer provides a full range of customer service, management staff, and private offices for meetings.
Last week, BMO installed two cash-dispensing ATMs inside the main entrance of the Suncoast Mall. Fully functional ATMs will be in place within three to five weeks. There is no surcharge on cash withdrawals for BMO customers using the ATMs.
"We are delighted to be back serving customers through our temporary branch," said Joanne Trahan, BMO Branch Manager, Goderich. "So far, customers have been impressed and surprised by how well outfitted the trailer is."
Repairs to BMO's tornado-damaged branch at 128 Courthouse Square will begin within the next few weeks. BMO expects it will take approximately three months to complete the repairs and re-open the branch.
Customers can also visit our nearby BMO location in Clinton, Ontario, or use our telephone, online or mobile banking services.
BMO Financial Group and its employees donated $40,000 to the Goderich Disaster Relief Fund, and BMO branches in Ontario are accepting donations on behalf of the Goderich Disaster Relief Fund.
BMO's relief program for tornado victims includes:
- Deferral of personal loan payments (various options);
- Deferral of mortgage loan principal and interest payments for a period of two months;
- Special accommodations for BMO Bank of Montreal commercial clients affected by the damages, which are being developed on a case-by-case basis.
