MONCTON, NEW BRUNSWICK--(Marketwire - Sept. 23, 2011) - BMO Bank of Montreal invites members of the community to celebrate the grand opening of its new full-service branch in Moncton at 1633 Mountain Road, on Saturday, September 24th.
"We are excited to be opening our doors to Moncton's rapidly expanding north end," said Christine Cooper, Vice President, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, BMO Bank of Montreal. "Moncton's economy is improving with a jobless rate at 7.1 per cent in August, down from 8.4 per cent at the start of the year and now below the Canadian average," said Robert Kavcic, Economist, BMO Capital Markets. "New Brunswick exports and manufacturing activity has been with exports up 20 per cent between July 2010 and July 2011, led by energy products and agriculture."
In order to meet the needs of its growing customer base, the new branch is outfitted with the latest banking conveniences, including:
- Access to commercial account and deposit services;
- Free coin counting machine;
- Three ATM machines; and
- Free parking.
Branch manager, Kristine McNeil, is joined by a team of 10 financial professionals including a financial planner, a mortgage specialist and a BMO Nesbitt Burns advisor.
