BMO Opens New Branch for Customers in Confederation Mall

- New BMO branch represents a $1.3 million investment into the community

- Saskatchewan leading Canada in economic growth in 2012

- Now open on Saturdays with extended hours

SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwire - Oct. 24, 2011) - BMO Bank of Montreal has opened a new full-service banking branch today in Confederation Mall at 300 Confederation Drive in Saskatoon.

The new, open-concept branch is designed to facilitate conversations that help customers to control spending, grow savings, borrow smartly and invest wisely, and features a variety of financial services and conveniences including:

  • Access to commercial account and deposit services;
  • Two ATMs;
  • Free parking in the mall; and
  • Barrier-free access.

"As a bustling new community within the Confederation Suburban Development Area, we encourage new and existing customers to learn about how BMO can help new home buyers become mortgage free faster and save thousands of dollars in interest over time."

The Hampton Village area is a young and vibrant community that surrounds the redeveloped Confederation Mall. The new branch represents a $1.3 million investment into the community and will serve the growing needs of the Villages' residents.

BMO's Confederation Mall Road branch's extended hours of operation are:

  • 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Wednesday;
  • 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and
  • 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday; and
  • 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday;

The grand opening celebration will take place on November 19, 2011.
