TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 4, 2011) - Sal Guatieri, Vice President and Senior Economist at BMO Financial Group, will present an economic outlook for 2012 and share his views on the challenges and opportunities for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) at FEI Canada's 4th Annual SME Conference 2011: Driving Growth and Expansion taking place on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at the Mississauga Convention Centre.
In this session, Guatieri will present his forecast for the 2012 economy, along with recommendations on how SMEs can take advantage of changes taking place in the Canadian and world economies. Guatieri will also outline opportunities for smaller firms to make the most of the strong dollar and low interest rates by investing in new equipment and technology, and identifying new markets around the world.
Mr. Guatieri will be available to the news media immediately following his presentation to discuss his outlook and views in more detail.
Eric Hart, Director of Corporate Payment Products at BMO Financial Group, will supply opening remarks and will also be available, following Mr. Guatieri's presentation, to provide insights into how the latest payment industry solutions can help SMEs overcome these economic headwinds and better manage their working capital.
