Sir John A. Macdonald Building a Fitting Name for Former BMO Main Branch in Ottawa

BMO Financial Group is pleased that the Federal Government has named the former main BMO Ottawa branch at 144 Wellington St. the Sir John A. Macdonald Building.

BMO has had a presence in Ottawa since 1842. Its main Ottawa branch was located at 144 Wellington St. from 1931 to 2005. Today, BMO serves the National Capital Region through 26 branches.
