As the February 29th RRSP deadline approaches, BMO hosts media panel on how to get the most from your retirement savings
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 24, 2012) - With the February 29th deadline to make a 2011 contribution to a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) rapidly approaching, BMO investing experts will be hosting a media panel to share strategies and insights with Canadians on how to get the most from their RRSPs during times of market instability.
In 2011, a confluence of events around the world, including the Arab Spring, the European sovereign debt crisis and a sluggish U.S. recovery, helped create a very volatile market environment. The TSX alone dropped eleven per cent during the year. And, while January 2012 saw some gains, most predict "volatility" will continue to be the operative word moving forward.
