BMO Capital Markets Announces Appointment of Mathieu L. L'Allier as Managing Director and Head, Investment & Corporate Banking, Quebec

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - March 30, 2012) - BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group, today announced the appointment of Mathieu L. L'Allier as Managing Director and Head, Investment & Corporate Banking, Quebec.

Mr. L'Allier will be responsible for leading BMO Capital Markets' Investment & Corporate Banking activities in Quebec and advising senior executives and boards of directors in a variety of industry sectors. He will report to Peter Myers, Head of Investment & Corporate Banking, Canada.

Mr. L'Allier joined BMO Capital Markets in 1997 in the Mergers & Acquisitions group in Toronto. Subsequently, he served in the Communications & Technology practice within Investment & Corporate Banking. He joined BMO's Montreal office in 2000. During his 15-year career in Investment & Corporate Banking, he has assumed increasing responsibility and has been lead advisor to a diverse set of Quebec-based clients with respect to a broad range of financing and advisory assignments.

Mr. L'Allier holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McGill University, studied International Business at the Solvay Business School in Belgium and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Mr. L'Allier serves on the Board of Directors of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation and is active with organizations such as Tennis Canada, McGill University and United Way. He was a member of the McGill MBA Advisory Board from 2004 to 2008.
