MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - April 27, 2012) - Laval's Monteuil Sparta, a team of U-9 girls from Laval, is holding a celebration event at the BMO Vimont Branch, located at 2040 Boulevard des Laurentides in Laval on April 27 to mark their win as the first BMO Team of the Week for 2012.

To mark their win as BMO Team of the Week, Monteuil Sparta is making a donation to the Club des petits déjeuners du Québec, whose mission is to provide Quebec elementary and secondary school students with a nutritious breakfast to help improve their academic performance. The Club is present in more than 100 primary and secondary schools across the province.

BMO Team of the Week is Canada's premier sport celebration at the grassroots level, engaging a nation and inspiring communities by recognizing youth soccer teams who demonstrate team pride, team spirit, community commitment and passion for the game. Fifteen weekly winners will be named BMO Team of the Week starting April 18, and entered for a chance to be voted by Canadians as BMO Team of the Week 2012 Champion.
