As part of the prize, BMO will be making a $500 donation to the team's charity of choice; The Sparks have selected KidSport Burnaby, an organization which works to provide young people in Burnaby a chance to experience the countless benefits that participation in organized sports promotes.

"It's thrilling to see a team that is passionate not just about soccer, but about helping the community as well," said Henry Donkers, District Vice-President, Vancouver, BMO Bank of Montreal. "Instead of waiting for presents to come to them, the Sparks spent last Christmas season raising money for the Salvation Army's Adopt-A-Family program. With such commitment, I can think of no better team to receive this honour. Congratulations, Sparks: you deserve it!"
