BMO Investments Inc. Announces Portfolio Management Change
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 16, 2012) - BMO Investments Inc. today announced that Guardian Capital LP will be appointed portfolio manager for BMO Global Dividend Class, a class of shares of BMO Global Tax Advantage Funds Inc.
Effective on or about September 21, 2012, Guardian Capital LP (GCLP) will replace the current manager, Kleinwort Benson Investors Dublin Limited, and will assume all portfolio management duties in relation to the fund. Guardian Capital LP applies a differentiated process that is based on a market-oriented, bottom-up, sector neutral approach to selecting the best securities, regardless of geography. The investment strategies of BMO Global Dividend Class will be revised to reflect Guardian Capital LP's approach and fundamental investment style, which is to seek long-term returns consisting of stable, sustainable dividend growth and steady income.
