CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 7, 2012) - BMO Bank of Montreal invites customers and members of the community to celebrate the grand opening of its West Springs branch at 4000 - 8561 8A Avenue SW in Calgary on Sunday, September 9, 2012.

The larger branch offers customers extended banking hours seven days a week, and is designed to provide a great banking experience through a broad variety of financial services and conveniences, including:

• Services provided in six different languages;
• Access to commercial account and deposit services;
• Safety deposit boxes;
• Two ATMs - including a drive-thru ATM; and
• Barrier-free access.

Fuelled by rising oil production, Alberta will lead Canada in economic growth this year, according to a report from BMO Capital Markets Economics. "Employment in Calgary and Edmonton is expected to strengthen through 2016 with the addition of 120,000 new jobs. We anticipate that the jobless rate will be below four per cent - back to pre-recession levels," said Robert Kavcic, Economist, BMO Capital Markets.
