MEDIA ADVISORY/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: Scotia Soccer Club Tier 2 U12A Girls Celebrate Being Named BMO Team of the Week

FALL RIVER, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwired - June 6, 2013) - BMO invites residents of Halifax Regional Municipality and members of the media to the BMO Bank of Montreal Lower Sackville branch on Saturday, June 8th to celebrate the accomplishments of the Scotia Soccer Club Tier 2 U12A girls, who have been named the BMO Team of the Week.
The branch celebration on Saturday will recognize the team's accomplishments with the presentation of $500 cash, BMO Team of the Week tracksuits and a $500 donation to Feed Nova Scotia, the team's chosen charity. Representatives from Scotia Soccer Club and Feed Nova Scotia will join BMO in the festivities.
The celebration will also kick off the team's campaign to rally community support as it vies for the title of 2013 BMO Team of the Week Champion.as one of 15 BMO Team of the Week finalists. The national title comes with a grand prize of $125,000 that can be used by the team to refurbish a local soccer field in its community.

BMO Team of the Week is Canada's premier grass roots sport celebration, engaging a nation and inspiring communities by recognizing youth soccer teams who demonstrate team pride, team spirit, community commitment and passion for the game. Fifteen weekly winners will be named BMO Team of the Week starting April 18, and entered for a chance to be voted by Canadians as BMO Team of the Week 2013 Champion.
