CHICAGO, ILLINOIS--(Marketwired - Sept. 6, 2013) - BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group (TSX:BMO)(NYSE:BMO), will hold its eighth annual North American Real Estate Conference on Monday, September 16, and Tuesday, September 17, at the Trump International Hotel in Chicago.
The conference is on track to draw 15 per cent more participants than last year, with more than 450 North American real estate companies, institutional investors and other industry participants already registered.
For the first time, the conference will feature a private equity panel with senior panelists from several key private real estate players. Sam Zell, who has earned world renown for his prowess as a real estate investor in the United States and in emerging markets, will deliver the keynote address on the Monday evening.
Real estate transactions and M&A activity have emerged as important drivers to real estate valuations in North America and will be a front-and-center topic of debate at the event this year. The conference will be hosted by BMO research analysts Richard Anderson, Paul Adornato and Mark Lutenski, based in New York, and Heather Kirk and Troy MacLean from Toronto. They will moderate a series of industry panels and Q&A sessions.
