BMO Bank of Montreal Appoints New Vice-Presidents for New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island

MONCTON, NEW BRUNSWICK--(Marketwired - Oct. 1, 2013) - BMO Bank of Montreal today announced the appointments of Cheryl Dawson as Vice-President for Eastern New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island and Lee Winchester as Vice-President for Western New Brunswick.

Ms. Dawson will assume leadership of a team of 105 professionals who serve customers through BMO's network of 13 branches in Eastern New Brunswick & Prince Edward Island, while Mr. Winchester will oversee BMO's 14 branches in Western New Brunswick.

"Throughout their careers at BMO, Ms. Dawson and Mr. Winchester have demonstrated a commitment and passion to customer service and sales, in addition to being actively involved in the community," said Carolyn Booth, Senior Vice-President, Atlantic Provinces Division, BMO Bank of Montreal. "With the establishment of an additional vice-president position in New Brunswick and PEI and the appointments of Ms. Dawson and Mr. Winchester, we want to ensure that we are closely attuned to our clients' needs and the communities we serve in both provinces," added Mrs. Booth.

Ms. Dawson holds an MBA from Dalhousie and has twelve years experience with BMO in various roles, including her previous position where she acted as Personal Banking Area Manager for Langley-Fraser Valley in British Columbia. Mr. Winchester holds an MBA from Dalhousie and began his career with BMO in 1996 at Corner Brook Main Office in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. He was previously Personal Banking Area Manager for Western New Brunswick, and is a Past President of the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce.

Allison Hakomaki, who oversaw BMO's operations in New Brunswick and PEI, has been promoted to Vice President, Commercial Banking for Atlantic Canada.
