TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Feb. 10, 2014) - BMO InvestorLine today announced a lower flat fee of $9.95 per equity trade for all Self-Directed clients. The new fee is not subject to any minimum account balance or trade activity requirements.
"Our new flat fee pricing is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to making investing more convenient and affordable for our Self-Directed clients," said Viki Lazaris, CEO, BMO InvestorLine. "This pricing change will make it even easier for Canadian investors to take advantage of our superior client services and strong investor education, research and tools."
In addition, BMO InvestorLine is offering clients $250 cash back and 250 free trades when they invest $100,000 before March 10, 2014. Further, when clients open an additional account they'll receive an extra $50 cash back and 50 free trades - for a grand total of $300 and 300 free trades.
BMO InvestorLine has also recently launched Traditional Chinese-language websites and is offering Chinese-speaking clients an $88 cash bonus if they open a new BMO InvestorLine account and deposit $25,000 or more up until February 22, 2014.
