BMO Donates $50,000 to Establish Moriyama RAIC International Prize BMO Financial Group Scholarships

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - March 31, 2014) - BMO Financial Group today announced a donation of $50,000 to establish the Moriyama RAIC International Prize BMO Financial Group Scholarships. The scholarships, part of the Moriyama RAIC International Prize established by renowned Canadian architect Raymond Moriyama and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), will be awarded biennially to students in formal programs at Canadian schools of architecture recognized by RAIC.

BMO announced the donation during the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the bank's Moriyama-designed Institute for Learning.

"Inspired by Raymond Moryiama's award-winning architectural designs and his contribution to life-long learning, BMO is honoured to establish these scholarships," said Bill Downe, Chief Executive Officer, BMO Financial Group.
