TORONTO, ONTARIO and CHICAGO, ILLINOIS--(Marketwired - June 16, 2014) - BMO Global Asset Management today announced that it has become a signatory of the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment Initiative (UNPRI).
The UNPRI is a global network of investors, including asset owners, investment managers and service providers, working together to put principles of responsible investing into practice. It is a framework designed to encourage sustainable investing through integration of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues in investment decision-making and ownership practices.
BMO Global Asset Management joins the recently acquired F&C Asset Management plc as a signatory of the initiative.
