BMO Bank of Montreal Announces Flood Relief Program for Saskatchewan and Manitoba
REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN and WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwired - July 2, 2014) - BMO Bank of Montreal today announced a financial flood relief program to assist customers affected by the flooding in locations throughout the Southern Prairies Region.
"Many residents are facing losses caused by the flooding and we hope our relief program for customers alleviates some of those challenges," said John MacAulay, Senior Vice-President for Prairies Central Canada Division, BMO Bank of Montreal.
The relief program for BMO clients includes:
- Deferral of personal loan payments (various options)
- Deferral of personal mortgage loan principal and interest payments for a period of two months
- Special accommodations for BMO Bank of Montreal commercial customers affected by the flooding, which are being developed on a case-by-case basis.
BMO Bank of Montreal customers impacted by the flood are invited to speak with a BMO financial services manager about their particular financial needs.
