BMO Announces $25,000 Donation to Red Cross for Relief Efforts in Saskatchewan and Manitoba

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 7, 2014) - BMO Financial Group today announced a $25,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross to assist those affected by the flooding in locations throughout the Southern Prairies Region.

The donation follows a previous announcement from BMO of a financial flood relief program to assist customers in Saskatchewan and Manitoba affected by the flooding. In addition, BMO branches in Saskatchewan and Manitoba are accepting donations to the Canadian Red Cross to assist in relief efforts.

"We want to support residents who are affected by damage caused by the flooding," said John MacAulay, Senior Vice President, Prairies Central Canada Division, BMO Bank of Montreal. "We hope our relief program for customers and our donation to the Canadian Red Cross will help alleviate some of the difficulties."
