    BMO Encourages Canadians to Donate to the Military Families Fund

    - Last week, BMO donated $20,000 to Military Families Fund to honour Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent

    - Accepting donations at BMO Bank of Montreal branches across Canada

    TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 30, 2014) - BMO Financial Group encourages Canadians to donate to the Military Families Fund. BMO is accepting donations to the Military Families Fund at branches across Canada. Last week, BMO made a $20,000 donation to the fund to honour the memory and service of Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent.

    "I remain humbled and thankful for the continued support of Canadians to the members and families of the Canadian Armed Forces," said Commodore Mark Watson, Director General, Morale and Welfare Services.

    "The tragedies in Ottawa and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu have affected all Canadians, and the outpouring of support for our fallen soldiers has been truly heartwarming," said Hugh McKee, Vice-President, Personal Customer Segment Management, BMO Bank of Montreal. "The fund is a great way of providing assistance to military families in need."
