TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 1, 2015) - BMO Investments Inc. today announced changes to its mutual fund line-up.
Effective as of today's date, BMO Investments Inc. will no longer accept purchase orders for Series I securities of each of BMO SelectClass® Income Portfolio, BMO SelectClass® Balanced Portfolio, BMO SelectClass® Growth Portfolio, BMO SelectClass® Equity Growth Portfolio, BMO Canadian Tactical ETF Class and BMO Global Tactical ETF Class (collectively, the "Series I"). In addition, effective November 13, 2015 (the "Termination Date"), BMO Investments Inc. will terminate each of these series.
Also, effective on the Termination Date, BMO Investments Inc. will terminate Series T5 of each of BMO SelectTrust™ Conservative Portfolio, BMO SelectTrust™ Growth Portfolio, BMO SelectTrust™ Equity Growth, BMO SelectClass® Growth Portfolio and BMO SelectClass® Equity Growth Portfolio (collectively the "Series T5"), and Series T8 of each of BMO SelectTrust™ Growth Portfolio, BMO SelectTrust™ Equity Growth Portfolio and BMO SelectClass® Growth Portfolio (collectively the "Series T8").
In light of the changes described above, investors holding Series I, Series T5 and Series T8 securities have several options. Investors may continue to hold Series I, Series T5 and Series T8 securities until the Termination Date. If they do so, those securities will be redeemed entirely on the Termination Date and they will be paid the proceeds. Investors may also switch their Series I, Series T5 and Series T8 securities - if they are qualified - for securities of another BMO Mutual Fund, or redeem their securities entirely and receive the redemption proceeds in the normal course.
BMO Investments Inc. encourages investors holding Series I, Series T5 and Series T8 securities to contact their investment advisor to determine the option that best meets their individual investment needs and circumstances.
