BMO Capital Markets Announces New U.S. Power, Utilities and Infrastructure Investment and Corporate Banking Group

Hires three managing directors in the U.S.

NEW YORK, Aug. 20, 2018 /CNW/ - BMO Capital Markets (BMO CM) today announced the launch of a newly-created U.S. Power, Utilities and Infrastructure (PU&I) Investment and Corporate Banking (I&CB) group.

The senior members of the new group will be Paul McNutt, who is joining BMO CM as Head of U.S. PU&I I&CB; Andrew Rosenbaum, Managing Director in PU&I; and Andriy Falenchuk, Managing Director in Mergers & Acquisitions focusing on PU&I. All three will be based in New York. Previously members of a leading U.S. PU&I I&CB franchise, they have significant experience across corporate sell-side and buy-side transactions, asset sales and acquisitions, bridge loans, equity and equity-linked financings, high yield and other debt capital markets transactions.

Mr. McNutt will work closely with Pierre-Olivier Perras, Head of Canadian and International PU&I I&CB, to coordinate global coverage efforts across the group. They will both report to John Armstrong, Deputy Head of Investment Banking.

The publicly-traded power and utilities sector represents a global market capitalization of more than US$3.5 trillion1. In addition, global infrastructure funds have an estimated US$500 billion of assets under management dedicated to the infrastructure sector.
