BMO Recognized with Four Major Treasury & Payment Solutions Awards
  • Received four major industry awards including Datos Insights, Red Dot Design, Global Finance, and The Digital Banker – highlighting commitment to digital innovation and delivering exceptional customer experiences

CHICAGO and TORONTO, December 12, 2024 - BMO’s Treasury & Payment Solutions (TPS) division has received several prestigious awards throughout 2024 in recognition of innovative work in artificial intelligence, digital banking, and global treasury and payments solutions. The accolades span world-renowned programs that celebrate cutting-edge technology, design, and innovation, highlighting BMO’s commitment to delivering customer-centric, digitally-enabled banking experiences that help drive real financial progress.

The Digital Banker’s Global Cards & Payments Innovation AwardCorporate Card “Extend for BMO”

  • In September 2024, BMO received the Global Cards & Payments Innovation Award for 2024 from Digital Banker, recognizing the Corporate Card “Extend for BMO” offering as the Best New Product Launch. Developed in partnership with Extend, this innovative virtual card solution enables BMO commercial clients to create and manage digital payments with enhanced control and efficiency.

Red Dot Design AwardOnline Banking for Business Platform

  • In July 2024, BMO was honored with a 2024 Red Dot Design Concept Award in the Interaction, User Interface (UI) and User Experience category for the latest evolution of BMO’s Online Banking for Business experience, designed for small and midsized businesses (SMBs). BMO is the first bank in Canada and the U.S. to be honored with a Red Dot award in this category. 

Datos Insights 2024 Impact Innovation Award for AI and AnalyticsBMO One Client Relationship Network Platform

  • In June 2024, BMO was awarded the Silver Medal in the 2024 Impact Innovation Award in Cash Management and Payments for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Advanced Analytics by Datos Insights. This award recognized BMO's pioneering "One Client Relationship Network Platform" which leverages graph theory, advanced analytics, and AI to create holistic end-to-end client relationship views.

Global Finance World's Best Treasury & Cash Management BanksBest Bank for Collections (North America), Best Bank for Transaction Banking (Western U.S.)

  • In June 2024, BMO was named a winner in The World's Best Treasury & Cash Management Banks Award Rankings for 2024 by Global Finance magazine. The Global Finance awards program honors cash management providers that have successfully differentiated themselves from their competitors around core services. BMO won awards for "Best Bank for Collections" in North America and "Best Bank for Transaction Banking” in the Western United States.
