BMO Bank of Montreal today opened a new $3.5 million bank branch in Windsor. The 5000 sq. ft., branch is centrally located at 2230 Tecumseh Road East at Walker Road.  

“This is an exciting day for the BMO team in Windsor,” said Michael Klopchic, Vice-President, BMO Bank of Montreal, Windsor District.   “After many months of discussion, planning and construction, the completion of this building now ensures that our customers will be able to conduct all of their commercial, personal and investment banking business under one roof.     Our investment in this new branch is a clear demonstration of our confidence in and commitment to the future growth and success of the Windsor community.”

The new stand-alone, state-of-the-art BMO branch is staffed with 20 banking and investment professionals and provides customers with a number of special convenience features, including:

• extended banking hours (Monday to Wednesday, 10:00 am to 4:30 pm; Thursday/Friday, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm; Saturday 9:30 am to 3:00 pm);
• two Instabank Extra automated banking machines (ABM), providing access to accounts and banking information 24 hours a day, seven days a week;
• extensive parking facilities and full wheelchair accessibility;
• full commercial banking services including cash management and deposit services and commercial account specialists and
• a highly experienced personal banking team which includes a Retirement and Investment Specialist, a BMO Nesbitt Burns Investment Advisor and a Mortgage Specialist.

The new Windsor Tecumseh branch replaces the BMO branches that were located at 1435 Tecumseh Rd. E, 1295 Walker Rd. and 4100 Tecumseh Rd. E.
